We are currently looking for a customer focused Field Engineer based in Wellington, who is looking to develop their career in a rewarding, high-performing, international company.

What does the role involve?

As a Field Engineer, you'll be working with our customers, sales teams, contractors and designers to drive the sales of specific products. You will focus on maximising the sales potential of Hilti products and services through specification with selected customer groups and projects. You will provide technical support and training to the company's personnel and customers, to ensure the delivery of a high-quality engineering support service at all times.

We invest 6% of our turnover every year in exploring new solutions in diamond systems, measuring tools, firestops, anchors and other fastening systems.

What you need is:

  • Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering is essential
  • Experience in a commercial environment
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and self-reliant person with good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry preferred but not essential
  • Valid full New Zealand driving license
